The Sportmax Qualifier II incorporates the same multithread compound technology as the D211GP race tyre enabling a higher mileage and a relatively quick warm-up time. The Sportmax Qualifier II features the Carcass Tension Control System, a technology which enables distinct regions of the tyre to become tensioned to varied tensions, resulting in additional grip and high levels of stability in fast corners.

The qualifier II Features Dunlop's Multi-Tread compounds which make it possible for the motorcycle tyre to have a rapid warm up time along with outstanding grip in the wet or dry with out sacrificing tyre wear. This tyre provides excellent feedback and very sharp handling characteristics. The design of the tread which is directional optimises the how the pressure id distributed enabling reduced wear and consistent performance.

The shape of the profile has been developed to provide a more consistent area of contact on the road as well as minimising changes in steering geometry while cornering. The lightweight frame of the tyre offers responsive handling and Dunlop's Joint-less Belt which is used in the construction of the rear tyre makes it possible for exceptional stability at higher speeds and which retaining a good level of shock absorption.
