The Dunlop Sportmax Roadsmart is a highly developed motorcycle tyre for sport touring motorcycles providing outstanding performance in the wet, excellent mileage and sports-bike like handling. It is said to perform better in the wet than any other road tyre from Dunlop, whilst also providing a very high mileage.

Since its introduction during 2008 The Sportmax Roadsmart has dramatically changed the sport touring tyre market. It performs well in all conditions and is available in a wide selection of sizes to fit medium to large capacity sport tourers.

This Tyre is regarded as a top rated sports touring tyre in several published independent tests. The Sportmax Roadsmart provides a well balanced combination of grip, stability, handling and mileage.

The Multi-Tread compound rear tyres features a harder compound in the middle of the tyre and a softer compound on the edges to increase cornering grip and deliver class-leading stability and feedback.

Minute particles of carbon are used in the manufacturing process to enhance levels of grip when accelerating in the dry together with a specialized silica additive to improve grip in the wet. These Innovative resilient polymers provide longer mileage and optimum grip.

The tread has been constructed with tread grooves which are deeper in the centre of the tyre in order to expel the highest possible volume of water when riding in the wet, either in a straight line or around corners.

Precise feedback and cornering is provided due to the Joint Less Belt technology construction whilst Dunlop's FS-JLB (Flex Steel JointLess Belt) technology ensures stability and enhanced shock absorption. This together with a varied area of contact at different angles of lean provides an excellent all round sport touring tyre with sporty handling characteristics.
